A BOOK FROM THE PRINCIPLES OF HANAFI FIQH (Al-Mustasfa Fi Sharh'in Nafi)

Today we will examine a very important source in the field of FIKIH. The name of the book is El-Mustasfa Fi Sharh'in Nafi. The name of the text is En-Nafi' or Al-Fiqhün Nafi'. It is one of the first period reliable HANEFI FIKHI books. Its author is Ebu'l-Kasım Muhammed Bin Yusuf El-Haseni Es-Samarkandi . Date of Death Hijri 556/1161.

Has al-Fiqh al-Nafi been published before?

Yes. It was studied as a PhD Thesis at Melik Saud University with the Investigation of Ibrahim El-Abbud . However, our Commentary Al-Mustasfa belongs to Imam Abu'l-Berekat En-Nesefi . (Deceased 710 Hijri) And our author is also the owner of many famous works such as Medarikü't-Tenzil/Kenzü'd-Dekaik/El-Menar fi Usuli'l-Fiqh .. It was published for the first time in El-Mustasfa.

Who did the review of our work?

It was done by Dr.Hasan Özer and Mehmet Çaba teachers. The presentation of the work was done by Prof. Dr. Saffet Köse Hoca made it.

The work was published in 3 volumes for the first time by us last year.

Let's look at the interior of the work. Right at the beginning of the book, we see the foreword of Saffet Köse Hodja. Later, we come across the introductions of the scholars Hasan Özer and Mehmet Çaba. Then we move on to the dirase part where the text and the features of the commentary are explained. In this section, the life and works of the author of the text are briefly explained and the text En-Nafi is mentioned. Afterwards, a larger part was devoted to Imam Abu'l-Berekat En-Nasefi, the owner of the commentary. His works are featured, his teachers and students are mentioned, and then the characteristics of Al-Mustasfa are mentioned. The sources used by the musannef and the works he benefited from are included in Mustasfa. It is stated in which sources the scholars who came after him benefited from Al-Mustasfa. Later, the terminology of Musanef is given. Finally, the manuscripts used in the review of the book are mentioned.

The work was verified by using five manuscripts. Four of them were taken from the Süleymaniye Library, one from the Konya Manuscripts Library, and the photographs of these manuscripts are included at the beginning of the book.

A successful page design has been made with the En-Nafi text at the top of the book, the commentary constituting Al-Mustasfa under it, and the investigation and footnotes below it.

Copy differences are indicated in the footnotes. A wide tahrij of hadiths has been made.

The printing features are extremely above the standards. The highest quality shamua paper known as Japanese shamua is used. The binding is a binding unique to Beirut. It consists of three volumes.
