A WORK ON THE METHOD OF HADITH... EL-IMAMÜ'Ş-SHAFI'I AND ESERUHU FI ILMI'L-HADITH

Our author is Doctor Abdulaziz Hüseyin Durah . Irshad Bookstore presented the book to scholars in 2016. If we take a quick glance at the inside of the book, it is an inspiration, gratitude and appreciation... Then comes the introduction of our author. In this preface, the author gave priority to why he chose this subject, the importance of this subject, the difficulties of this research and previous studies in this field. He has briefly summarized the method he followed in his book and the content of the book here. The book consists of three main Babs.

1. Imam Shafii and his life in Bab, the period he lived, the political, social, social and cultural situation at that time, Imam Shafii's extensive biography, his birth, his demand for knowledge, morals, his teachers, students, the praise of his teachers -other scholars- . Imam Shafii's muhaddism, jurisprudence, mujtahidism, proceduralism and lexicography are discussed.

In the 2nd Chapter, topics such as the position and value of the sunnah, the authority of the sunnah, the issues of sunnah and abrogation are discussed according to Imam Shafii.

In the 3rd chapter, Imam Shafii's views on the sciences of hadith have been tried to be given in a wide manner. In this book, which is a very rich work of 400-odd pages, it is possible to find a wide range of Imam Shafii's views on the science of hadith and his services to the science of hadith.
