ANOTHER BOOK FROM THE PRINCIPLES OF HANAFI FIQH (Umdetu Zevi'l-Besair li-Halli Mühimmati'l-Eşbah ve'n-Nezair)

As you know, Eşbah ve'n Nezair is a literature that deals with similar issues in the field of FIKIH . Although there are many books written on this subject, the work named El-Eşbah ve'n-Nezair by Ibn Nüceym, the 'Hanefi FAKİH ', is a famous work. And there are some commentaries and annotations on this work. One of those annotations is Umdetü Zevi'l-Besair of PİRİZADE , who was a judge in Mecca during the Ottoman period.

The annotation of our work by Prof. Dr. Teachers Saffet Köse and İlyas Kaplan realized it.

There is a preface made by the experts at the introduction of our book. Here is a brief overview of the book. Then, information about the life and works of PİRİZADE, the author of the work we have, is given. It is mentioned that the author has nearly 100 works and most of them are in the field of FIKIH.

Four manuscripts were used in the analysis of the work. The first is in the Mufti of Istanbul , the second is in the Laleli Library , the third is in the Rağıp Pasha Library , and the fourth is in the Martyr Ali Pasha Library .

The menhec and method followed in the investigation and the photographs of the manuscripts used in the investigation are included.

If we take a look at the inside of the book, the text is given at the top and the annotation of PİRİZADE is given at the bottom. At the bottom, there are footnotes written by the inspectors.

As our author stated in the introduction, he himself explained some of the closed issues in Al-Ashbah wa'n-Nazair.

The work was printed in two volumes of medium volume and in colored print using special Japanese shamua paper. It is bound with Lebanese-specific binding technique and material.
